Procurement Manager

An automotive component manufacturer with sites worldwide requires a Procurement Manager to lead a team of Buyers whilst also managing their own portfolio of indirect procurement. The ideal candidate will be MCIPS qualified and highly experienced in indirect procurement.

Package: £68,000 - £73,000 p.a. +Car Allowance +10% Bonus +Medical +Enhanced Pension

The Role

Reporting into the Director you will have the following duties:

-Developing sourcing strategies for indirect categories.
-Build and maintain strong working relations with key suppliers.
-Drive cost reduction projects without compromising on the quality and service levels.
-Lead and inspire a team of purchasing professionals fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.

The Person

Educated to degree level of MCIPS qualified you will have the following experience:

-Previous experience in automotive or manufacturing indirect spend is essential.
-Experience in people management and leadership.
-Ability to lead negotiations and support teams.
