About the Role
As Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a procurement framework that supports our global operations. You'll lead high-value sourcing projects, manage key supplier categories, and ensure procurement activities align with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across departments - including finance, legal, operations, and risk - to ensure procurement is efficient, transparent, and aligned with our broader business objectives. Initially reporting into the Risk function, this role offers autonomy and the opportunity to build a best-in-class procurement approach from the ground up, with full support from the Chief Risk Officer and wider team.

About the role
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead complex sourcing projects and tenders, identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating supply chain risks.
Category & Supplier Management
- Manage key procurement categories to ensure optimal supplier performance and innovation.
- Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance using KPIs and scorecards.
- Develop and embed a third-party risk framework across the business.
Contract Negotiation & Management
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and manage risk.
- Maintain contract registers and ensure timely renewals or re-tendering.
- Ensure contracts are legally compliant and aligned with internal governance.
Procurement Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all procurement activity complies with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards (e.g. UK Public Contracts Regulations).
- Promote transparency and accountability through robust documentation and audit trails.
Process Improvement & Digitalisation
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance automation.
- Champion the use of procurement tools, e-tendering platforms, and analytics dashboards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support procurement planning and delivery.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on procurement best practices.
General Responsibilities
- Support the Esher Office Manager with procurement of goods and services for HQ.
- Share knowledge and expertise across the organisation to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in performance reviews and take ownership of personal development.
