As a Procurement Manager at Meltwater, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Your strategic approach will be essential to ensure that goods and services are acquired in a cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant manner.

What You'll Do:
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimise cost savings and operational efficiency, while ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
- Manage 1-2 key spend categories or business functions from a procurement perspective, ensuring effective sourcing and vendor management.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and sourcing methods to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage contracts effectively to secure favourable terms that align with organisational goals.
- Select and evaluate vendors based on established criteria, ensuring alignment with business needs and procurement objectives.
- Apply basic category management principles to oversee and maintain supplier relationships within designated spend categories.
- Utilise procurement software and tools to efficiently track, report, and analyse procurement activities.
- Analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Proactively identify procurement challenges, propose innovative solutions, and troubleshoot issues within established guidelines.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Proven track record of leading sourcing initiatives and achieving measurable cost savings with successful outcomes.
- Further professional development, such as a CIPS qualification, is preferred or highly valued.
- Strong ability to analyse procurement data and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Experience in identifying procurement issues and developing creative solutions within established guidelines.
- Capability to troubleshoot procurement-related challenges effectively and efficiently.
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams during sourcing events.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate seamlessly with internal teams for successful implementation and client satisfaction.
- Capacity to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to embrace the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role requires you to be in the office 3 days a week.
- The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.
