The Job Role
- Procurement Manager to maintain relationships with current suppliers ensuring compliance with all agreements
- Manage a small team of 3
- Management and development of purchasing systems and processes
- Develop and drive continuous improvement in purchasing activities
- Lead supplier reviews, tendering and contract negotiations
- Developing internal relationships, ensuring purchasing is considered in all relevant business decisions
- Seek out opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality
The Requirements
- Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be comfortable with delivering projects and purchasing strategies.
- You will have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- The Procurement Manager will have a structured, methodical and hands-on approach to ensure all contracts are complied with and renewed or retendered at the appropriate time.
- Worked in a similar role within food services would be preferable.
