Job Title: Procurement Leader
Location: – Frimley – Hybrid working, 3 days on site
Salary: £47,271 + Dependant upon skills and experience

Lead contract management activity for major subcontract & transactional procurement, including all commercial and cost matters

Lead the communication of your areas SC activities when informing cross-functional and external stakeholders of performance, threats & failures. When required, deputise for the SC Senior Manager

Manage supplier relationships, promoting our strategic and collaborative behaviours

Contribute to Supply Chain Excellence by supporting activities that deliver on People, Process, Technology & Governance, ensuring the SC function is fit for the future
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Proven Supply Chain, Procurement or Project Management experience

Understanding of Supply Chain

Demonstrable experience working on large scale complex projects

Excellent Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to guide and influence at all levels

Commercial awareness
Desirable:

Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualification or equivalent

The Integrated Combat Systems Supply Chain:
The Integrated Combat Systems Supply Chain team are responsible for managing major high value and complex contracts with significant defence suppliers. This opportunity will provide you with fantastic opportunities to gain skills and experience and build a strong network in support of your future career goals and ambitions. As a Supply Chain leader you will be managing a number of Supply Chain Professionals and working cross-functionally internally and externally, ensuring you and your team deliver Scope and fulfil Processes, Toolsets & Reporting requirements. This is a fast paced, commercially driven procurement environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK’s National Defence Programme.
