Job Title: Procurement Executive

Salary: £63,900+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing
- Shape and deliver strategy for the Procurement elements of Tornado Support, covering continuity of supply, risk management, supplier sourcing, and obsolescence management.
- Act as the functional lead for the Procurement Service Delivery Unit (SDU), representing the team internally and externally with Panavia.
- Influence senior leaders across the business and provide clear reporting on progress and outcomes.
- Lead and support key deliverables for our customers, including sourcing, sustainment, and supply chain performance.
- Apply and share lessons learned from wider In-Service Support activities to improve efficiency and strengthen future approaches.
- Ensure good commercial management of supplier contracts—minimising risk, driving innovation, and embedding continuous improvement.
- Build and manage relationships with strategic and key suppliers to deliver long-term value.
Your skills and experiences
Essential Skills:
- Experience in leading, managing and delivering strategically important and high value projects. Thorough understanding of functional commercial and procurement capabilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of the application of Operational Framework, LCM Framework and other change management tools, policies and procedures
- Thorough understanding of pricing models (competitive and non-competitive pricing techniques).
- Considerable Commercial, Contractual, Legal and business acumen, with proven negotiation skills, a natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders internally and externally across the business
- Proven experience in Market Intelligence, International Sourcing, Risk and Opportunity Management, Contracting and Supplier Relationship Management
Desirable skills:
- Working knowledge of the Tornado platform
- Understanding and application of international business

The Sensors & Support Solutions – Air Procurement Team
Join a dynamic team shaping and supporting the Procurement strategy for Panavia Tornado support. You’ll play a key role in delivering enduring in-service support to customers across Europe and the Middle East, working closely with internal teams, Panavia, and external suppliers and partners.
With a team of 25, you’ll collaborate across functions—PM, Engineering, and Supply Chain—gaining exposure to multiple platforms and business areas.
