The role will directly support our 'Making What Matters' strategy, which starts with a simple love of television, watching it, creating it, and talking about it. Procurement has a big role in helping bring this strategy to life and we live and breathe operational efficiency and procurement excellence, which in turn helps ITV fund the investment needed to make, deliver and commercialise the content to our audiences.

The role...

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Director to lead the Corporate and Marketing Services Category. This newly created senior leadership position is designed to enhance ITV's procurement category capability and strengthen our business partnering model. The candidate will be a key member of the Group Procurement Leadership Team and ITV Senior Leadership population.

Reporting to the Group Director of Procurement, you'll have 2 direct reports and a close business relationship with the Chief Viewer Officer, Chief People Officer, General Counsel and Finance Centre of Excellence. Partnering with them closely on their strategic priorities, providing expert commercial and procurement advice.. You'll embody the values of the ITV strategy and oversee the transformation, optimisation and management of the supply chain based within the Corporate and Marketing Services Category. This will include acting as the principal owner (within the category) for identifying and executing commercial opportunities, stakeholder management, management of key strategic suppliers, Third Party Risk, Social Purpose & ESG delivery within ITV.

Some of your key day-today responsibilities will include:

Leadership

• Partner with senior leaders to define and deliver long-term vision and supply chain plan for Corporate & Marketing services (e.g., Media, Data, FM, HR, Legal & Insurance).
• Align ITV Procurement with strategic business goals and foster communication to influence cost management culture.
• Lead day-to-day team operations, ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and metrics support performance and decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to promote an inclusive culture and high performance.

Business Delivery & Financial Performance

• Drive cost-effective sourcing strategies and create multi-year project pipelines that support ITV's cost programme..
• Collaborate with Finance and Transformation teams to forecast and validate savings.
• Ensure procurement activities follow internal policies and governance.
• Manage supplier risks and implement strategies for compliance and value delivery.

Customer Service

• Engage with key teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Marketing and Workplace Services) to enhance supplier knowledge and maximize value.
• Balance formal policies and hands-on support to allow procurement support with speed and agility.

Risk & Control

• Manage supplier risks (e.g., Modern Slavery, Bribery Act) and enforce regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation plans for high-risk contracts.
• Monitor supply chain risks and implement strategies to manage potential impacts.

People & Capability Management

• Build a skilled, empowered team with strong commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Help drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, technology, and people.
• Lead talent attraction, retention, and development to meet future strategic goals.
• Conduct regular performance and succession planning to support growth and development.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)...

• Proven track record of a leadership role in a procurement function within a global FTSE 250 business or equivalent
• Exceptional stakeholder management & influencing skills
• Experience of leading complex supplier negotiations across a broad range of categories including corporate services, data, marketing & technology
• Demonstrable experience of driving and delivering change, simplification of business processes and better value in complex environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement concepts, processes and techniques including supply chain management, risk management and progressive category management.

• Excellent working knowledge of the indirect supplier market, to bring outside information to the organisation.
• Excellent people management skills.
• A strong team player; supports and encourages peer colleagues and is effective at influencing senior leaders. Ability to understand complex issues / situations and providing solutions
• Strong decision-maker, with understanding of the implication on the goals and objectives of the ITV Group.
• A confident, professional leader who inspires, motivates and manages a senior team effectively, with exceptional communication skills.
• Cuts through complexity to create clarity and always acts with integrity.
• Is inquisitive, seeking constant improvements without being dogmatic.
