Procurement Business Partner, Marketing and Corporate Services
We're looking for a Procurement Business Partner to shape and influence ITV's spend across Marketing and Corporate Services at a time of significant transformation and investment.
Reporting to the Procurement Business Partner for Corporate and Marketing Services, and working closely with senior leaders, you will act as a key strategic partner, shaping commercial decisions on some of ITV's most critical and high-profile projects.
You will partner with stakeholders across the business with integrity and constructive challenge, confidently balancing local requirements with wider group priorities while helping deliver ITV's multi-year cost-saving programme and digital transformation ambitions.
The team
The Group Procurement team has a vital role to play in helping achieve ITV's strategic goals to transform and grow the business. This includes driving the delivery of our multi-year cost-saving programme and making sure ITV gets the best value from the significant investments being made to digitally transform the business.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business with integrity and challenge, balancing local business requirements with group priorities while acting as a trusted commercial advisor.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business areas you support, including operational challenges and strategic priorities, enabling you to act as an internal consultant and influence decision-making.
- Build deep, trusted relationships with senior internal stakeholders and strong external relationships with key suppliers, professional organisations and relevant industry networks.
- Develop valuable business insights through analysing spend, market trends, benchmarking, competitors, value chains and business demand to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Work collaboratively with Procurement leadership and business stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that support ITV's group targets and deliver long-term value.
- Provide analytical support and structured problem-solving methodologies to help the business solve complex challenges, focusing on total cost of ownership and innovative market practices.
- Lead the procurement workstream on major projects, including developing sourcing strategies, running competitive tender processes, evaluating responses, negotiating commercial terms and supporting contracting.
- Manage supplier relationships in partnership with the business, overseeing governance, performance reporting, continuous improvement and capability development.
- Work closely with Finance to identify, forecast, validate and track savings delivery.
- Support identification, mitigation and monitoring of key third-party risks, ensuring ITV's Social Purpose standards and targets are upheld.
- Contribute to the digital transformation of the business, demonstrating curiosity and practical application of technology, data and Gen I to unlock value opportunities and enhance procurement processes.
- Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of Procurement's processes, tools and capabilities.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- At least 4+ years' experience in indirect procurement within an FTSE 100/250 or similarly complex organisation, with a strong track record in strategic procurement or consulting roles.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing market-leading sourcing strategies and leading complex, high-profile procurement projects.
- Hands-on experience delivering large-scale transformation initiatives.
- A keen Interest in Gen AI and naturally curious about how agentic AI will change and enhance procurement.
- Demonstrable experience developing positive working relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Track record of successfully leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams in the delivery of complex and high-profile procurement projects.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to draw on multiple data points and perspectives to generate insight-led, innovative solutions.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into tangible, commercially sound outcomes.
