Processing Team Manager (Revenues)
Full Time - 37 hours (Mon - Fri)
Grade 7 £43,432 to £51,126 per annum
We are seeking a passionate and results driven individual to lead our Revenues Processing Team, delivering quality services to our residents and businesses.
Leading a busy team, you will be responsible for the administration, billing, and collection of Council Tax, you will need in-depth knowledge and experience of local taxation legislation and practice. Ideally you will also have experience in a supervisory role, however we are able to support someone looking to take their first step into a more senior position.
You will need to be self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent customer service, maintaining, and building effective relationships with officers and other key stakeholders. Be able to resolve problems effectively, contribute to business process improvements and offer legislative guidance to officers, residents, and partners. Strong communication, negotiation and mediation skills are essential.
You will need be able to demonstrate a track record of dealing with complex casework, resolving customer complaints, and leading by example.
You must have at least 3 years' previous experience of working in a Revenues and Benefits service.
Appointment to the post will be subject to a BPSS check.
