What you’ll be doing:
- Efficiently managing the operation of manufacturing processes
- Taking responsibility for the safety of employees working within the manufacturing area
- Implementing the SHE policy, legislation, and safe systems of work
- Leading the delivery of manufacturing KPI’s including quality and cost reporting
- Managing your team and providing the right support to help them excel and succeed
- Ensuring that the manufacturing area is managed in a cost effective and efficient way
- Supporting and implementing CI activities utilising lean tools & problem-solving techniques
- Scheduling and supporting maintenance activities within your area and supporting maintenance activities within your area
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- An Engineering Degree or time-served apprenticeship
- Demonstrable experience managing a technical team, ideally in fast paced volume manufacturing environment
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work a 3-shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am. Early finish on Fridays)
Desirable:
- Qualified in IOSH and/or Environmental Managing Safety
- SAP experience
- First line management qualification

The Manufacturing team:
As a Process Leader within the Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of technicians and operators in the efficient production of small arms ammunition. You will get the opportunity to work in our new modern, purpose-built facility.
