ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
The Proactive Internal Account Manager will be responsible for the retention & growth of an agreed set of customers and establish long term, effective relationships with them, mainly via telephone/ virtual sales.
- You will be a motivated self-starter who is eager to create and maintain meaningful sales relationships and liaise with other sales teams within Routeco as appropriate to provide the best customer experience for the customer. Is that you?
- Achieves set profitability & revenue targets
- Take ownership of call KPIs in line with set targets
- Proactively increase the number of spending accounts by calling our existing customer base and winning additional business
- Attends sales meetings and prepares requested information as required
- Create and maintain ongoing relationships so you need to enjoy dealing with people and be enthusiastic and confident that you can make a good impression
- Completes weekly sales reports and follows up leads generated through marketing activity
- Work with your Area Sales Managers and External Sales Managers by identifying projects that will benefit from their input
- Be confident using various internal systems and be confident with Microsoft Office with good attention to detail
- Takes ownership of targets and is hungry to succeed
- Self-motivated and driven to be successful
- Take charge of your personal development and contribute to the evaluation of performance in line with Routeco's core competencies and learning and development framework.
- Observe Health & Safety policy and procedures
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO ROUTECO?
- A good standard of education is required, particularly in Maths & English.
- Influencing and motivational skills are critical requirements for the role.
- The job requires the ability to finish projects and take tasks through to their natural conclusion.
- Good day to day planning capabilities are an essential for satisfactory performance
- Previous experience within a Proactive sales environment is essential
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Natural telephone manner to all levels of customers
- Knowledge of Automation and Control products would be advantageous
- The role holder will be required to stand up to assertive challenges from others.
WHAT ROUTECO CAN OFFER YOU
- Salary of upto £27,000 subject to skills and experience
- 37.5 hours per week
- 25 days holiday a year with the ability to flex up to 5 days
