A highly regarded and internationally connected law firm in London is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Private Client Senior Associate to join its respected Private Wealth team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a collaborative, partner-led practice advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients on complex UK and cross-border private client matters.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on estate and succession planning, trusts, and UK tax matters for individuals, families, and entrepreneurs. You'll handle a broad caseload with immediate access to high-value, often international work, while helping drive business development and mentoring junior lawyers.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising on UK and international estate planning and succession matters
- Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments
- Managing complex probate and estate administration cases, including cross-border estates
- Advising clients on UK personal taxation, domicile, and residency issues
- Providing guidance on trust creation, restructuring, and administration
- Collaborating with colleagues in corporate, real estate, and disputes for holistic client service
- Supporting marketing and business development activities
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
About You You will have:
- 7-10 years' post-qualification experience in private client law
- Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales
- Full STEP qualification (or near completion)
- Experience advising HNW and UHNW individuals, including cross-border matters
- Strong knowledge of UK tax and estate planning
- Excellent drafting skills and confident client-handling ability
- A commercial approach and strong team ethic
Desirable:
- Experience advising clients with international or offshore interests
- Familiarity with family office structures or cross-jurisdictional estate planning
- A background or interest in mentoring and team leadership
