What you'll do

In the role of Privacy Manager you will support Vodafone Business's Global Privacy Program by providing: (1) expert advice and support to the business on privacy, responsible AI and data ethics requirements; (2) identify and advice business on how to mitigate risks associated with data privacy, AI applications and regulatory changes; (3) advice on and monitor implementation of Privacy Program and controls across area of responsibility, and improve maturity of Privacy Policy, Standards, Process and Patterns.

  • Provide expert advice to business teams on privacy, responsible AI practices and data regulatory requirements (eg. Digital Service Act, Data Act), supporting creation and launch of complaint products and services and guiding strategic decision-making processes and operations;
  • Provide expert legal privacy advice to support customer & supplier contract negotiations;
  • Identify and advice business on how to mitigate risks associated with data privacy, AI applications and regulatory changes;
  • Analyse and efficiently communicate legal and regulatory changes and trends to internal business stakeholders, providing relevant recommendations and actionable solutions;
  • Advice on and monitor privacy and responsible AI compliance program within area of responsibility and support creation, improvement and implementation of Policies, Procedures, and Patterns to improve maturity and ensure they align with the latest standards.

Who you are

  • CIPP or comparable professional certification or qualification.
  • Preferable: expertise in new technologies, AI, Cloud, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, telecommunication networks.
  • Experience in drafting data processing terms, compliance policies and processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EU legislation governing privacy, AI, data regulations (such as Digital Service Act, Data Act), and cybersecurity, and good understanding of global data and privacy landscape in technology, telecommunication and online businesses. Ability to interpret and apply these regulations within the organization.
  • Strong skills in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks related to data privacy and AI, including experience with conducting impact assessments - at least 2-3 years of relevant data privacy expertise is preferable;
