The Role

The Principal TA Specialist will support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates, ensuring all quality thresholds and SLA/KPIs are met. They will deliver excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels, acting as the custodian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience.

They will use a range of data led sourcing insights to determine the best hiring strategy for each requisition, leveraging data, historic hiring trends, and market analysis to find the best talent in the market.

Principal TA Specialist's will be aligned to high-touch client business units or stakeholder groups that require additional attention, this includes more challenging or senior stakeholder group, more complex or hard to fill role types, roles that have a greater strategic significance.

Principal TA Specialist's may also be aligned in cases where they are the only AMS resource in a specific geographical location.

Key Accountabilities

What you'll be doing:

Recruitment Delivery:

  • Execute candidate sourcing and attraction plan including engaging candidates from known talent pools (Internal ATS/ CRM Alumni pools etc..)
  • Ensure recruitment services meet contractual obligations and client SLAs.
  • Lead hiring strategy meetings to agree on recruitment plans with hiring managers.
  • Use data led sourcing insights to determine the best hiring strategy for each requisition, leveraging data, historic hiring trends, and market analysis
  • Review CVs and compliantly and comprehensively screen candidates to present quality shortlisted candidates to hiring managers, coaching the managers through their candidate selection decisions at shortlist & interview
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience from first contact through interview process to start date.
  • Drive hiring decisions and lead offer negotiations.
  • Address potential stakeholder issues and share knowledge to enhance recruitment delivery.
  • Support defined future hiring requirements by talent pooling relevant quality candidates, when suitable live vacancies are not available .

Technology and Compliance:

  • Track candidate status and requisition updates in relevant systems.
  • Identify and flag scope creep for account contractual management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and track compliance risks

Client Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior hiring managers/stakeholders. (see role purpose for description of types of stakeholders)

Internal Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Collaborate with Talent Sourcing, Insights, Talent Attraction, and Administration teams for a smooth client and candidate experience.

Skills & Experience

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships with candidates, clients and teammates.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
  • An analytical mind, attention to detail and practical approach.
  • Capable of dealing with ambiguity and everchanging priorities
  • Experience in ATS systems.
  • Global/regional experience preferred.
