The Role
Location: United Kingdom (1 day in office)

At AMS, we focus on skills, potential and the ability to grow. We're looking for a Principal Sourcing Specialist to join our Deloitte account. If you're passionate about proactive talent sourcing, market mapping and building strong stakeholder relationships, this could be the perfect opportunity.
As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you'll play a key role in identifying and engaging top talent across Deloitte's business. You'll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers, building talent pipelines for both specialist and high-volume hiring while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Accountabilities
What you'll do
- Lead proactive sourcing activities across a range of Deloitte business areas, identifying and engaging high-quality talent through direct search and headhunting.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs across specialist skill areas.
- Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence to identify key talent pools and competitor insights.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and develop sourcing strategies.
- Screen candidates, assess suitability and present high-quality shortlists.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted sourcing partner throughout the recruitment process.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through regular communication and engagement.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing market insights and identifying new sourcing approaches.
- Act as a point of contact for SME advice and expertise.
- Play an instrumental role in mentoring and guiding others and contribute to the broader strategy and objectives within the team.
Skills & Requirements
Must have
- Demonstrated experience in proactive sourcing, direct search and headhunting within a fast-paced recruitment environment.
- Strong market mapping and talent pipelining experience.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and building credible stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support a high-volume recruitment workload.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify passive talent.
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Nice to have
- Experience sourcing within technology or professional services environments.
- Knowledge of Banking or Financial Services recruitment.
- Experience recruiting for niche technical skill sets.
- Coaching or mentoring others.
