We're hiring Principal and Senior Pricing Analysts to join our Pricing team across multiple UK office locations, including London, Birmingham, Guildford, Manchester, Leeds, and Bournemouth. In this role, you'll lead statistical analysis and provide insights to improve pricing and products for our customers and brokers. You'll also take part in the Global P&C Academy, developing expertise in underwriting, pricing, risk engineering, and claims.

Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Pricing Analyst to join our growing team at Allianz UK. Depending on your experience, this role can be appointed at either Senior or Principal level. You'll be part of a dynamic pricing function, contributing to the development of sophisticated pricing models and strategies that drive profitability and support our transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will vary day to day, but here is a bit of what you can expect:
- Assisting in reviewing the expected impact and implementation of risk model updates - continually looking to improve data and processes.
- Working with different teams and stakeholders to achieve an understanding of their needs, data requirements and expected modelling outcomes.
- Getting hands-on with data from its source right through to modelling rating changes and then implementation of changes in rating.
- Analysing data, interpret output and communicate results to a non-technical audience.
- Regularly review pricing and underwriting monitors, ensuring key points are escalated.
- With your manager, define, set priority and report on status of project work and rate reviews / analysis to support product and pricing development
- Assisting with BAU including reporting.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Full working knowledge of tools such as Excel, VBA, SAS, Radar, Emblem, Classifier, and MicroStrategy
- Experience in Pricing within General Insurance (Personal or Commercial lines)
- Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- For Principal level: proven leadership in pricing strategy and model development
