Principal Quality Inspector

Job Title: Principal Quality Engineer

Location: Liverpool (Birkenhead) – Onsite

Salary: £40,748+ depending on skills & experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform welding inspections and structural inspections in line with Supplier ITP requirements

  • Conduct conditions management and customer walk-round audits and developing and coaching others

  • Develop, maintain and modify processes and procedures in assigned areas

  • Lead the verification of all non-conformances

  • Perform on the job process verification audit and surveillances

  • Verification & approval of manufacturing record books

  • Use calibrated measuring equipment to assess and measure tolerances of the product and record any non-conformance

  • Ensuring effective dissemination across the inspection teams and cross-functionally where required

Your skills and experience:

Essential

  • CSWIP Welding Inspector (3:1)

  • Structural Inspection experience

  • Stakeholder Management experience

Desirable

  • NDE inspection experience

  • SAP experience

  • Full UK driving license

  • MPI certificate

  • ICORR Level 1

The Quality Inspection Team:
