The requirement is for an experienced Project Delivery Manager with a proven track record in overseeing and managing complex high impact transformative projects. The role involves strategic planning, execution and leadership ensuring that projects align with WorkWave's objectives, are completed on time and within scope. The Principal Project Manager plays a critical role in driving innovation and excellence to our external customers and internal stakeholders.

This role will support the business and lead all of our migrations to include complex upgrades, product migrations, and future infrastructure enhancements. This role will work closely with all areas of the business, (Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Professional Services). Additionally, the role will gather feedback and engage with our customers on our future direction of our products, services and infrastructure.

To achieve this the successful candidate must have a passion to succeed. They should also have excellent organizational, communication, demonstration and written/documentation skills, combined with strong customer facing skills and previous senior management and leadership experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Lead the delivery of a complex Cloud migration project across the UK&I using Waterfall and Agile project methodologies in fast pace and high pressure project environment
    • You will take ownership and a proactive lead in understanding the purpose of the migration you are delivering and what success looks like for our customers
    • Manage and lead the migration teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Responsible for managing senior level internal customer relationships
    • Be a critical thinker and problem solver who is comfortable challenging assumptions, asking questions and making decisions as well as finding the not so obvious answers by leveraging subject matter experts
    • Provide guidance and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan
    • Ensure effective communication and interfaces with the all internal departments
    • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure that delivered solutions meet established standards of functionality, reliability, and performance
    • Active stakeholder management to clarify requirements and agree on project objectives and priorities. Maintain stakeholder involvement in key decisions
    • Manage project risk effectively - take responsibility for the management of the project risk and opportunities and effective mitigation measures to reduce risk
    • Be responsible for the project programme. Work with multidisciplinary delivery teams to update the programme as required
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, to drive project execution and achieve desired business outcomes
    • Work closely with cloud architects to design and implement migration strategies
    • Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the integrity and functionality of migrated applications
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing and resolve any issues that may arise
    • Dealing with emerging risks and issues promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary
    • Using appropriate standards, systems, resources, tools and techniques in all project and programme management activities
    • Maintaining and controlling project documentation and systems during, and on completion of the project
    • Preparing weekly/monthly project status updates for EMEA SLT and C-Suite

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • Project Management experience, preferably gained from managing IT (software) projects
    • Proven experience of working with a project management methodology such as PRINCE2
    • Experience with Agile or other iterative project management methodologies is a plus
    • Strong understanding of ERP systems and related technologies
    • Successful delivery managing migration projects
    • Demonstrable high-level of communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
    • Demonstrable experience of commercial decision making
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external project teams
    • Experience of working with Project management tools and platforms (MS Projects, Smartsheets, MS Office, G-Suite)
