We are looking for a Principal Employee Relations with a passion for foresting positive employee relations by promoting open communication, trust, and collaboration with management and employees.

Your role: Principal Employee Relations.
Employee engagement and satisfaction within our organization is at the heart of everything we do. We care about our employees so that they can care about our customers. In this senior strategic role, you will have ownership for ensuring that our relationship with our employees and works council in Germany are respectful, constructive, and rewarding.

You will be providing guidance to senior leadership team when developing and implementing a constructive and detailed framework for our employees to foster a positive and engaging relationship. You will partner with key stakeholders that include senior HR leadership, the legal department, PR and Internal Comms. Your expertise in German labor laws and labor relations framework and practices, combined with strong communications and negation skills, will be instrumental.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in HR/ER/LR
- Experience of working from election to implementation of works councils and managing works councils in highly commercial and demanding environments.
- Prior exposure to labor relations in other European countries.
- International business exposure or experience working in multinational environments.
- Strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Fluent in spoken and English (Common European Framework of Reference C2)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Labor Law, Human Resources Management, or equivalent.
- Sound judgment and decision-making, deploying emotional intelligence in every interaction with our employee base.
- Experience in building effective working relationships with employees at all stages from entry level employees to VP level leaders
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills in an ambiguous environment with the capacity to work autonomously to manage competing priorities simultaneously while driving projects to closure.
- Experience facilitating employee listening sessions/focus group and designing and delivering training programs.
- Acts with a sense of urgency and with a desire to thrive in a dynamically growing environment.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high-level of discretion.
- Technically proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
