Job Summary
A Project Manager role at Veritas Prime is a true project manager in nature. As a project manager, you will play a vital role in materialising ideas / plans into services products. He / she is responsible for planning, designing, budgeting, executing and monitoring every aspect of a specific project. Depending on the requirements of the client and their level of experience or seniority, Project Managers can handle one or multiple projects at a time.
Nature & Scope
Prime Project Manager will use their experience and expertise to produce estimates of all phases of project implementation. Support or lead budget management including reporting and forecasting. He / she will actively participate in project scoping and planning activities and ensure all parties are well informed. Act as a lead to ensure successful delivery of the project as and when needed. Take initiative to liaise with other functions of the organisation and seniors to ensure project delivery is effective and efficient. To work proactively ensuring engagement is high with both internal and external stakeholders. Contributes to the development and maintenance of project management processes, procedures, policies, tools and methodologies.
A Prime Project Manager will actively spend time on recording the skills of staff and utilising this strategically during resourcing. Able to coach and mentor project teams as and when required. Ensuring all the actions from post implementation reviews are properly implemented and also applied to new projects. Ensuring capacity needed for successful delivery of a project is gauged correctly. Arrange and lead project review meetings along with providing independent assessment on the project's overall status. Provide leadership on projects that have issues and active support when needed. Drives accuracy in project financial reporting, schedule, resourcing and forecasting.
Knowledge & Experience
- 15 plus years of IT and business/industry related experience with large, global organisations. A minimum of 8 years in a project management role, managing medium to large global teams.
- Five plus years of leadership responsibility managing medium to large projects/teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
- Experience in implementing SAP SuccessFactor projects ( ideal but not necessarily)
- Minimum 4+ years consulting and hands-on experience in multiple Full Life Cycles in the areas of your SuccessFactors Modules. From planning to configuration through go-live.
- Strong functional knowledge of the system
- Experience in developing and cultivating relationships that support our clients, with the vision of supporting our customer for life approach
- Global project experience
- Profound understanding of HR and industry-specific business processes
- Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to present and communicate to Senior managers and executives
Skills
Certification in one or more core SuccessFactors modules
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Microsoft Office tools and Presentation skills
Education
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business or related discipline
