Prime Brokerage Account Manager

Your role

An account manager manages the relationship with clients, acting as the primary interface between clients and the firm in maintaining and growing key accounts.
The candidate will:
Develop cross-asset class strategy on key accounts to the provision of basic servicing to lower maintenance accounts
Partners with sales, product development and senior management to formulate the medium to long-term partnership strategy, or to execute on key components of an existing strategy.
As a senior member of the team you are expected to exemplify, adhere to and promote the UBS principles and behaviours acting with integrity, due skill, care and diligence at all times.
When supervising other members of staff, ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies via effective supervision and oversight with reference to the Principles of Good Supervision

Your team

You'll be working in the PB Client Service team based in 5 Broadgate.
The team consists
The team is highly collaborative. There are varying levels of experience and differing SME knowledge throughout the team. Delivering the best possible outcome for our clients will often require input from those with the most relevant knowledge.

Your expertise

Extensive (5+ years) client facing experience in financial services dealing with professional clients.

Thorough understanding of Prime Brokerage services and how they fit into the Client Lifecycle.

Highly developed Relationship Management skills. An ability to build meaningful client relationships based on trust and competence.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to deliver messages, complex ideas and client requirements clearly, to relevant stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

Delivering for our clients requires co-ordination across a range of functions and an ability to project manage on a formal and informal basis.

As a senior rank you will provide guidance for the junior members based on your expertise in relationship building and professional behaviours.
