Allianz UK are recruiting a Pricing Technology Product Owner to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pricing practitioner to represent the Pricing Technology requirements on the Commercial Transformation project, responsible for designing and creating the Pricing Ecosystem, delivering the end to end global and local vision.
This role will be hybrid from our Guildford Office.
About You
As the Pricing Technology Product Owner, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and shaping the UK transformation roadmap from a Commercial Lines Pricing perspective
- Using business knowledge and market insight to ensure the solutions being developed are market leading
- Member of the UK Transformation Leadership team with overall accountability for the end state
- Key decision maker and escalation point for all business issues involving Pricing and Data
- Product Owner for the Commercial Pricing Technology squad, representing pricing needs to the delivery teams.
- Liaising with key stakeholders across the organisation at all levels
- Liaising closely with the BAU Pricing team and the wider Underwriting leadership team to ensure the vision and requirements are fully supported within the business.
- Working with a range of teams across the company including Data, Claims, Operations, IT and Underwriting to ensure all requirements and interdependencies are identified and managed.
Essential Skills
We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but the following will enable you to hit the ground running:
- Extensive commercial insurance pricing experience with a strong focus on Radar
- Proven experience leading cross functional change activity
- Ability to effectively drive business, culture and technology change and develop a framework for data and analytics governance and embed it in all levels of the business
- Results orientated working style with positive, pragmatic attitude
- Strong affinity to digital development and strategic solutions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex issues
- Business acumen as well as an understanding of the insurance sector
- A high degree of data and numerical ability
