The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Fares Distribution Expert with deep expertise in airline fare management systems, including ATPCO Fare Distribution and Global Distribution Systems (GDS). In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the distribution of fares, routings, rules, and footnotes across a portfolio of assigned airline customers, ensuring precision, accuracy, and compliance within the rapidly evolving airline industry. You will also be responsible for testing fare products across GDSs and troubleshooting, when necessary.

In this role, you'll

• Manage and distribute airline fares, routings, rules, and footnotes using the ATPCO Fare Distribution System, including programmatic uploads through SFTP.
• Oversee the loading of public, private, and FBR fares, ensuring compliance with industry standards and accuracy across all channels.
• Collaborate with airlines and partners to manage Special Prorate Agreements (SPAs) and integrate branded fares. Manage and update Chart 2 mapping in ATPCO accordingly.
• Handle ancillary services, carrier-imposed fees, and ticketing fee structures.
• Ensure quality assurance across major GDS platforms including Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, and Abacus.
• Conduct regular audits and analysis to identify areas for improvement in fare filings and enhance overall accuracy and speed.
• Be a driver of operational excellence and define robust and efficient workflows to manage fare, routings, rules, and footnote content across platforms, ensuring a speedy and error-free execution
• Document filing-related processes and provide training to peers and team members

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience with the ATPCO Fare Distribution System and airline pricing.
• Strong knowledge of fare structures, refund/reissue processes, and ticketing fees.
• Expertise in managing Special Prorate Agreements and ancillary services.
• Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, and Abacus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on market trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS environment within the travel or airline industry.
• Familiarity with branded fares, carrier-imposed fees, and industry regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
