Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37 hours

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker (minimum of 2 days in office following satisfactory induction and probation dependant on service needs)

Salary: £48,474 to £51,515 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Location: Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking colleague to join our team who can demonstrate our core behaviours built around four central themes:

We want a visionary and enthusiastic Prevention and Assessment Manager to play a critical role in advancing our vision. You will oversee the work of the team, manage homelessness assessments, stay updated on legislation and best practice while also developing innovative solutions to prevent homelessness.

You'll work collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop and deliver housing solutions and support.

Key priorities will include:

  • Experience as a service leader in a complex organisation, with experience of delivering against outcomes, creating clear objectives and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative leader, with evidence of successfully fostering and harnessing partnerships across different sectors, and developing a culture of collaboration.
  • Comprehensive and up to date working knowledge of housing legislation in both the public and private sector and up to date working knowledge and understanding of homelessness legislation & homelessness prevention initiatives.
  • Effective budget management through an understanding of the principles of financial management including preparation, monitoring and best value.

- The role requires you to participate in the on call rota.
