Hours of work: 30-35 per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Parkside Community Primary & Preschool wish to appoint an inspirational and creative Nursery Manager for its onsite Preschool.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to be a manager for our Preschool and join our dynamic, committed and friendly team. You must be energetic and have a sense of fun and nurture.

We can offer you supportive teamwork, and outstanding purpose built Early Years environment, access to the school grounds and facilities, training to suit your needs, and the school holidays!

You will be supported and will work closely with the school's Early Years Lead, who will support you in the planning and delivery of the Preschool curriculum.

The Preschool manager and wider team also benefits from support from a range of staff across the school, including the SENCo team and School Business Manager. In addition, the preschool team work with a specialist PE teacher and a specialist music teacher who both visit the setting weekly.

The successful candidate will be a passionate enthusiastic dedicated practitioner with excellent knowledge of the EYFS. Experience as a preschool or nursery manager or deputy manager is desirable. However, if you have held similar levels of responsibility, this post might be for you!

We are set in a well resourced, purpose-built preschool on our Primary school site. The children also have access to the main school including the library, hall, farm and forest school.

We currently have 36 happy children on roll across the week and a supportive, friendly team of staff, as well as ongoing support for career development for this position.

This role is available to start from January or February 2025.

The hours of work are 8:30-4:00pm Monday - Friday, term time only. There may be the potential to have a small amount of flexibility around these hours (including a degree of remote working), subject to discussion after interview.
