• Happy Faces Pre School - Haverhill, Suffolk CB9 8DT
• £21,500 per annum
• 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time only, 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
• Permanent

Happy Faces is a lovely, voluntarily managed, term-time-only preschool situated in a residential area of Haverhill Suffolk. We promote a relaxed and happy atmosphere focusing on learning through play in a way that caters to each child as an individual. We are seeking a committed, knowledgeable, and empathetic person to have a hands-on approach to all aspects of Preschool life.

The manager will report to the committee but will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the pre-school.

Main Purpose of job

To provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all pre-school children and maintain a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment. To lead and manage staff on a day-to-day basis. To contribute to and implement the preschool policies. To ensure that all statutory, legal, and setting obligations are followed and met.

Qualifications

Essential

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.

Desirable

• Level 4 or higher in Early Years. Current First Aid certificate.
• Food hygiene certificate.

Experience / Knowledge

Essential

• Experience of working (2 years minimum) in an Early Years setting with some leadership responsibilities.
• Experienced Early Years Educator.

Desirable

• Early Year's childcare and education experience. Experience in administration including budget management.
