We're hiring for a Pre-Sales Marketing Director as part of Dentsu in London.

Purpose of the Role

Our dentsu UK&I marketing team is looking for a Pre-Sales Marketing Director to build and develop our central pre-sales capability that is aligned to our business and marketing strategy, and activation across our practice areas.

This is an exciting and highly visible role for an experienced marketing and growth-minded professional, used to working across channels, industries, partners, and capabilities to drive lead gen activity working as an integral connection between our marketing and new business teams.

Reporting to the VP of Experience Marketing, the role activates the growth strategy set by the wider UKI Marketing team in collaboration with growth/sales.

Key Responsibilities [bullet points]

  • You'll own lead gen outreach, supporting pre-sales content creation (ex; case studies); prospect monitoring (movers and shakers), prospect event attendance and elements of the client nurturing process.
  • Manage and deliver the marketing strategy in line with the wider dentsu growth strategy, ensuring that all outreach is consistent across the business, and liaise with the wider dentsu marketing team to leverage, co-create, and align marketing for cross-sell and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead generation strategies.
  • Accountable for performance of nurturing and outreach programmes/campaigns leveraging pre-sales content.
  • Work with client leads, growth leads, external communications, and sales pursuits teams to identify wins and develop case studies of our very best work to position these for the media and wider marketing channels.
  • Lead and manage a team of BDR's providing guidance, motivation, and mentorship.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Performance and data focused Individual with a keen eye for creativity and innovation.
  • Strong B2B Sales experience coupled with knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and exemplify leadership and composure under Experience in marketing and/or sales in a B2B environment.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Strong programme management skills and ability to manage a busy calendar of activity.
  • Experience of internal stakeholder management within a matrixed organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with very senior stakeholders with the ability to remain calm and professional under rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Must be a team player but also able to work with limited day-to-day supervision.
