The Role
As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of their projects, ensuring smooth pre-construction planning, feasibility analysis, and strategic coordination. You'll work closely with stakeholders, design teams, and project managers to lay the groundwork for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Lead pre-construction activities, including feasibility studies and budgeting.
- Tender & Procurement: Manage bids, tender processes, and supplier negotiations.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients to refine project scope and expectations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Design Coordination: Ensure seamless integration between design and construction teams.
- Programme Development: Establish realistic timelines for project execution.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in pre-construction management within the fit-out and refurbishment sector.
- Excellent knowledge of tender processes, procurement strategies, and value engineering.
- Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and construction methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
