New Malden Vets is seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to join our busy, forward-thinking first opinion small animal practice in South West London.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Clinical Directors in leading a committed team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice and enhancing our client experience.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

* Leading and supporting the practice team.

* Promoting and managing our fantastic reception team, ensuring exceptional client care.

* Overseeing business development, including finance management and budget control.

* Managing office tasks such as stock control, schedules, and absence management.

* Supporting HR activities and contributing to the recruitment and development of our team.

* Ensuring health and safety compliance with team support.

* Overseeing debt management processes and addressing client complaints.

* Maintaining high ethical and professional standards across the practice.

About New Malden Vets

Based on the SW London/Surrey borders, we are a busy small animal practice that prides itself on delivering the highest standards of care to our clients and their pets. Our modern facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, and multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, just to name a few. We are well-established in the local community and are only 30 minutes from Central London by train, with easy access to the A3 for those looking to escape city life.

You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team consisting of 6 Vets, 8 Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, and 7 Receptionists. Our practice culture is one of mutual support and encouragement, ensuring we continue to provide gold standard care to our patients.

This full time position requires 40 hours of work per week. Start and finish times can flexible. Occasional Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 1:00pm may be required to support our reception team during absences or holiday cover. There are no out-of-hours, and there is potential to work some hours from home.
