We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to lead our team at Mill House Veterinary Surgery & Hospital in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

Your Next Role

As Practice Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards across all areas of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading and inspiring our team of vets, nurses, and support staff.

* Managing HR tasks such as recruitment, staff development, and rotas.

* Overseeing compliance, health and safety, and practice maintenance.

* Monitoring financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.

* Driving growth through effective marketing and client engagement strategies.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with all departments to create a positive and productive environment for both staff and clients.

Your New Team

We are a friendly and supportive practice in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, within walking distance of the town centre. We're also just a short drive from the stunning North Norfolk coast, with excellent train links to Norwich, Cambridge, and London-all less than two hours away.

Our team includes specialist vets, supported by a fantastic first-opinion team. We're backed by RVNs and SVNs, with certificate holders across emergency care, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and more.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a motivated and proactive individual with:

* Proven experience in management, ideally within a veterinary or healthcare setting.

* Strong leadership and communication skills to engage and support the team.

* A passion for driving excellence and implementing positive change.

* The ability to manage financial processes, including budgets and P&Ls.

* A creative approach to client engagement and business growth.

While experience in the veterinary industry is a plus, it's not essential-we value leadership, organisational skills, and a collaborative spirit above all.

Working Hours

This full-time role includes 40 hours per week across 5 days, working 8:30am-5:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

What We Offer You
