We are TMW Tomorrow, a new culture led venture from the award winning integrated creative agency TMW.

TMW Tomorrow which launched in June, combines the creative PR and comms heritage of agency Fever with the social and content excellence of TMW to create a new collective within TMW that responds to the changing and challenging media and social landscape.

The 35 strong team covers PR, social and influencer comms, we are rooted in culture and passionate about creating work that gets people talking.

The role:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, ambitious and confident Director, and experienced PR professional, to join us at the inception of this exciting new venture. The successful candidate will need to have a passion for new business and have an entrepreneurial mindset with an ambition to help shape, build and grow a brand-new business unit.

The role will be building our credibility, and a standout capability in the PR and Comms space (building on the Fever legacy), using this as a springboard to turn Tomorrow into a force to be reckoned with in the industry - winning new business, awards and demonstrating we are leading the charge in the changing dynamics in this area.

Tomorrow is critical to our integrated proposition, to our growing Government remit and, in time, to our future opportunities with Accenture Song.

Key Responsibilities include:

Day to Day-

  • Co-leading a team of cross discipline experts (PR, social, influencer).
  • Driving a proposition to market, being the face of the business unit and creating both an individual and business profile within the communications and marketing industry.
  • New business as well as existing client development.
  • P&L ownership -overall responsibility for the Tomorrow P&L including reporting financial updates, trends and forecasting into the business senior leadership team coupled with plans to mitigate any financial attrition.
  • Puts a clear plan in place for the year which is communicated effectively to ensure everyone is aware of the proposition.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to the senior management team.
  • Seen as an advocate of 'integrated work' - leading by example and driving new behaviour and thinking across the agency.
  • Actively network with other Unlimited agencies as well as the wider Accenture Song group.
  • Deals with issues confidentially and sensitively, follows through on commitments and behaves in a consistent manner.
  • Supports the senior team on personnel management issues and makes difficult decisions quickly.
  • Takes an active role in the PR and marketing of the Agency to drive awareness and manage reputation.

People & Culture-

  • Ensures Tomorrow is a great place to work through compelling agency initiatives and an open and supportive culture.
  • Is seen as a positive role model to the rest of the business, actively representing the company's values and inspiring everyone else to do the same.
  • Develops (alongside senior leadership team) and leads key agency initiatives to support people both professionally and personally.
  • Works collaboratively to create an open environment where people can bring their true self to work - supporting a more diverse range of talent with new ideas and thinking.
  • Encourages open feedback with the senior leadership team to ensure all voices are heard and questions answered.
  • Positively represents the senior leadership team both internally and externally, building out recognition for the agency and its beliefs

Commercial Management-

  • Supports with the financial running of the Tomorrow to meet business KPIS outlined in the annual plan.
  • Works with teams to ensure accurate forecasts across portfolios with all revenue considered and up to date in the roller.
  • Challenges teams to unlock organic revenue and strive for Stretch targets across key accounts.
  • Works in conjunction with finance and senior leadership team to evaluate pricing models and consider budgeting of new integrated services.
  • Drives greater appreciation of commercial issues from top to bottom, ensuring that all employees understand how the agency makes money and the importance of accurate costing and time management within that.
  • Oversees and supports teams with plans to improve client profitability and tackle overservicing.
  • Ensures agency structure, talent management and recruitment is in line with revenue projections and key KPIs are being met.
  • Effectively manages costs to ensure all spend remains in line with revenue.

Strategic Growth-

  • Leads on development of the Tomorrow proposition.
  • Drives the development of the strategic growth plan, including proposition, scope and structure, working in conjunction with the senior leadership team to own specialist areas.
  • Supports on the evolution of the business to build out capabilities and win bigger, better integrated briefs.
  • Works effectively with the new biz team to identify growth sectors/targets, and develop a compelling approach.
  • Ensures the central process is accurately supporting the revenue targets and individuals and teams are engaged to support the business development and new business drive.
  • Proactively identifies new revenue streams through value-add services for both existing clients and new business

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will need to have a passion for new business.
  • They will have an entrepreneurial mindset with an ambition to help shape, build and grow a brand-new business unit.
  • Broad integrated experience in particular working with a cross discipline team on significant integrated opportunities.
  • Approachable to all, encouraging involvement and listening to others point of view.
