Role

We are looking for an exceptional Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding UK Technology Agency. The successful candidate will manage a variety of technology accounts, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality results and PR consultancy. Purpose of the role

The Account Manager is the primary day-to-day contact for the key PR accounts they manage within the agency and is responsible for ensuring that campaigns are delivered to an exceptional standard, within agreed timeframes. The Account Manager holds responsibility for the quality of core work on an account and ensures that April Six's reputation for quality and creativity is embraced by the work we deliver.

Key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day communication with primary client contacts to coordinate and report on campaign progress.
  • To have an in-depth knowledge of the client's business and the sector in which they operate, and apply this knowledge in your day-to-day management
  • To ensure we deliver a consistently excellent service and outputs for our clients, being responsible for the quality of delivery.
  • Confidently deliver excellent client copy and harness existing journalist relationships to secure media opportunities.
  • To manage client budgets and plan and monitor team hours.
  • To manage the workflow for the Account Executives that you have responsibility and mentoring more junior members of the team as they develop their PR skill sets.
  • To identify opportunities for organic account growth.
  • To support new business pitches.

Skills, knowledge, and experience

  • Exceptional writing skills, being able to produce accurate and engaging copy for clients including complex technology subject matter.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Having great attention to detail to ensure anything delivered to clients and the media is of the highest quality.

Essential skills and attributes

  • Prior experience managing PR accounts within the technology industry
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • A passion for technology
