PR Account Director

We are Nelson Bostock, one of the UK's leading technology, B2B and corporate public relations agencies. We create compelling and creative brand storytelling for some of the world's biggest tech brands and ambitious start-ups.

We are looking for a talented, creative and ambitious Account Director to join our team supporting on a portfolio of approximately four B2B accounts, including well-known brands, as well as some of our high-growth accounts. The role will also have a focus on identifying prospects and helping us to win new business. The role would suit a candidate who is passionate about B2B comms and has experience in the technology or B2B sector.

We recognise that audience environments and behaviours are changing and we're adapting our models to better serve our clients' needs. In this spirit, the agency has integrated with our sister marketing agency TMW Business - enabling us to offer full-service PR & Marketing to our client roster. It's an exciting time to join!

Please note this is a hybrid role which for us means a mix of working from home and our offices in Soho, London.

Requirements

  • A consultant who is able to provide senior counsel and strategy to clients
  • Excellent media relations, knowledge, and contacts
  • A team leader - passionate about coaching, supporting and nurturing more junior team members
  • Knowledge of the UK media landscape
  • A talented writer / content creator
  • A senior agency lead - able to play an important role as part of the agency's senior team
  • A level head and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Experience in account strategy, delivery, development and growth
  • Knowledge of preparing and managing budgets and experience ensuring projects are profitable
  • Contribution to the overall development of the agency - including culture, brand and client service
  • A creative thinker that challenges the norm and approaches a brief with new ideas
  • Experience in running integrated campaigns and selling in social services to clients
