Overview
What will you be doing?
We are seeking a highly skilled PPC Manager to join the PG ONE Publicis Media team, supporting the delivery of Shopping and Search performance for Procter & Gamble across Europe.
This role will focus on the hands-on management and optimisation of Google Shopping campaigns, ensuring best-in-class activation, bidding strategy, and performance delivery across multiple markets and product categories.
The successful candidate will combine deep Google Ads expertise with strong analytical skills to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue through highly optimised product-led campaigns. Working closely with strategy, analytics, and activation teams, the PPC Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and scaling performance across P&G's European ecommerce ecosystem.
This role requires a hands-on practitioner with strong biddable media expertise, comfortable managing large-scale accounts and navigating the complexity of FMCG product portfolios.
Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Plan, build, and optimise Google Shopping and Search campaigns across multiple European markets.
- Manage campaign structure, product segmentation, and bidding strategies to maximise performance outcomes.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with account strategy, brand priorities, and ecommerce objectives.
Bidding & Performance Optimisation
- Implement advanced bidding strategies (Smart Bidding, tROAS, tCPA) to maximise conversion efficiency and return on ad spend.
- Conduct ongoing optimisation of product feeds, keyword coverage, negative lists, and audience signals.
- Monitor performance trends and proactively implement improvements to drive incremental growth.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse campaign data to identify performance drivers and opportunities for optimisation.
- Produce clear and actionable reports that translate performance metrics into strategic insights.
- Monitor KPIs including CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ROAS, and impression share.
Shopping Feed & Product Data Management
- Work closely with feed management teams to optimise product feeds, attributes, and taxonomy structures.
- Ensure product data quality supports strong Shopping visibility and performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to maintain feed integrity and automation workflows.
Cross-Market Coordination
- Support the activation of Shopping campaigns across multiple European markets, ensuring consistent best practices and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with local market teams to align campaign execution with regional objectives and market dynamics.
Innovation & Best Practice
- Stay up to date with the latest Google Ads platform updates, Shopping innovations, and automation features.
- Identify opportunities to test new campaign formats, targeting approaches, and optimisation techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of campaign frameworks and operational workflows.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Experience managing PPC campaigns, with a strong focus on Google Ads.
- Proven experience running Google Shopping campaigns at scale.
- Experience working on multi-market accounts, ideally within FMCG or ecommerce brands.
- Advanced knowledge of the Google Ads ecosystem, including Shopping, Search, Performance Max, and Smart Bidding strategies.
- Strong understanding of campaign structure, audience targeting, and performance optimisation techniques.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Experience using reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with product feed management tools (e.g., Merchant Center, feed optimisation platforms).
- Basic understanding of tagging, tracking, and attribution frameworks.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with strategy, analytics, and client teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Google Ads Search Certification (preferred)
- Google Shopping Ads Certification (preferred)
