Portfolio Manager
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to join our Team based out of our Coventry Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for following Leadeship Team guidance in coordination with Branch Manager and National EI Services Manager. They will manage the systems and processes for portfolio as a central function to support the branches and KAM team and drive the UKC Portfolio Sales Strategy for the KG : portfolio growth with density. They will also Identify timely initiatives for portfolio protection and develop new business actions to achieve annual sales and profit targets. This is a permanent and full time role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Enable a sustainable digital journey to Schindler Customers
- Act as Key User for Group sales tools, leveraging best practices to implement sales effective initiatives
- Ensure effectiveness of portfolio protection (PCM conversion and renewals) and growth (recoveries) initiatives
- Set and adjust sales targets as appropriate
- Maximise price realisation for service contract orders through the sales price lists and limits of authority process
- Revisit existing and past customer base to increase data quality and utilization of key contacts with the power to influence business award decisions
- Ensure competition strategy knowledge in order to achieve pricing targets. Supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors in the country
- Responsible for business related information (sales information, forecasting and reports), with a special focus on PowerBi tools utilization, to enable effective business reviews with Branches and KG management.
- Ensure SAP and Leads Tracking Tool (LTT) databases are maintained and kept up-to-date
- To ensure potential contractual risks are always mitigated by working closely with the QS teams and Legal
- To adhere fully to the company core values
- All employees are required to work in accordance with established Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and Schindler Core Values to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements and Schindler Group Safety requirements.
- Employees are required to attend all relevant Training Sessions.
- Employees are required to carry out all works in accordance with the Company's Quality Corporate Policy.
- Employees will be required to contribute to the Company's Safety Objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to its Safety Management System.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record to motivate and drive performance
- Demonstrated record of identifying new business and developing pipeline
- Ability to develop a strong long-term sales pipeline
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A self starter with strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
