We are recruiting for a PMO to join our Transformation Management Office; this is a small, high-performing team with responsibility for delivering strategic programmes across ITV. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes and making sure we're prioritising the people side too.

This role will be embedded in ITV's Media & Entertainment division and will focus on supporting the delivery of projects and programmes impacting that division.

The PMO is responsible for supporting the programme management function by providing administrative support, tracking the project's progress, monitoring KPIs and ensuring programme documentation is up to date. Reporting to the Programme Director with a dotted line to the COO of M&E, the PMO will also work closely with the delivery leads to support the portfolio of projects and programmes and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and delivering business value.

  • Support the Programme Director and COO of M&E by providing an up-to-date status of all strategic programmes across M&E for use in board meetings and other governance forums.
  • Proactively track deadlines and deliverables by actively seeking updates
  • Manage programme risk & issue logs proactively seeking updates from Delivery Leads.
  • Support in monitoring project's progresses, programme status reporting (managed in Smartsheet Control Centre)
  • Coordinate Delivery Leads' status report updates
  • Maintain the programme documentation including but not limited to: governance structure, meetings cadence (incl. terms of reference), programme onboarding deck, trackers, etc...
  • Provide administrative support to the programmes , including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting decisions and noting and proactively following-up on actions
  • Support in maintaining the high level programme plan.
  • Support in monitoring programme KPIs and analysing data, providing insights to support decision making
  • Support the implementation of project management tools and software
  • Support the development of programme phase/wave budgets where appropriate, working with the Programme Director and relevant finance business partner
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Great communicator with an ability to build and influence relationships
  • Can work as a team as well ability to work independently, takes initiatives
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Google suite
  • Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and can manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively
  • Experience with project management tools and softwares especially Smartsheet Control Centre
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience of or familiarity with change management is preferable
  • Portfolio management or PMO experience (project management qualification is a plus)
