We are seeking an innovative and experienced Podiatry Clinical Manager to lead our student clinic based in the award winning Daphne Steele Building. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-quality clinical learning environment that delivers excellent patient care while supporting the development of the future workforce.
The clinic operates as a student service, where podiatry students work alongside qualified clinicians and Academics to deliver care. You will play a pivotal role in integrating education, service delivery, and workforce development, ensuring a safe, effective, and inspiring clinical environment.
Working with the Strategic lead for the Health and Wellbeing Academy you will:
• Provide operational and clinical leadership for the podiatry clinic
• Oversee delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred podiatry services
• Lead the development and sustainability of a student-supported model of care
• Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to support student placements and service developments
• Ensure robust clinical governance, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes
• Support, coach, and develop clinical staff and supervisors
• Drive service innovation to enhance access, experience, and outcomes
• Contribute to wider workforce transformation and placement expansion agendas
We are looking for a registered Podiatrist (HCPC), educated to degree level with significant post-registration clinical experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to education and workforce development you will possess excellent communication, partnership, and organisational skills and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
