The UK / US TDD team partners closely with Investment stakeholders across Australia, the UK, and the US, delivering technology platforms that are globally aligned, operationally resilient, and fit for purpose.

We're now looking for a Platform Delivery Manager to join our Investment Platforms team, accountable for the end-to-end delivery, reliability, and continuous enhancement of critical investment technology platforms.

The Opportunity

This is a senior delivery leadership role within a complex, global technology environment. As Platform Delivery Manager, you'll be accountable for the reliability, availability, and lifecycle management of assigned investment platforms, while leading the delivery of complex change initiatives alongside ongoing BAU enhancements.

You'll work closely with Investment stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and global counterparts to deliver value iteratively - balancing strategic change with operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end delivery for assigned investment technology platforms, ensuring reliability, availability, and continuous improvement
• Lead the delivery of complex technology programs and projects while maintaining cadence for BAU change
• Drive demand management and early engagement to assess feasibility, dependencies, costs, and timelines
• Create, prioritise, and manage delivery backlogs, demonstrating strong Agile and delivery leadership
• Ensure technology change meets business, operational, cost, quality, and risk expectations
• Manage project governance including planning, financials, risks, issues, dependencies, testing, deployment, and handover to support
• Provide platform-level technical leadership, contributing to architecture roadmaps and target-state delivery models
• Collaborate across architecture, security, service operations, and other platform teams to ensure aligned outcomes
• Lead vendor and partner relationships to ensure delivery aligns with AustralianSuper standards and strategic goals
• Embed strong risk management, governance, and compliance practices across delivery
• Contribute to uplift of delivery capability, continuous improvement, and the transition to a feature-based, continuous delivery model

What You'll Bring

You're an experienced delivery leader who thrives in complex, highly regulated environments and enjoys working at the intersection of technology, investment, and business outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Experience delivering complex technology projects and/or portfolios
• Strong experience delivering initiatives using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams in global environments
• Experience delivering technology change across applications and infrastructure platforms
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capability
• Commercial acumen, including financial management, vendor management, and negotiation skills
• Experience operating in hybrid insourced / outsourced delivery environments
• Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• A growth mindset with curiosity for emerging technologies, including AI and modern data platforms

Desirable experience includes:

• Financial services, investment management, or superannuation experience
• Experience delivering technology solutions supporting Investment Platforms
• Experience working within global, matrixed organisations
• Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe, Disciplined Agile)
• Project management certifications (e.g. Prince2, PMP)
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
