The team...
Part of the Media and Entertainment division, the Distribution team manages the distribution of all ITV channels and on-demand content in the UK working across key strategic partnerships such as Sky, Virgin Media and Amazon.
The role...
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised team player to support the Distribution team with managing ITV's on-demand output onto third party Platforms. This will include maintaining in-house systems to produce accurate schedules, metadata and work cross-collaboratively with teams in the VOD operations process including Rights, Scheduling, Content Delivery, Marketing and external Partners.
Your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Maintain day-to-day operational processes to produce accurate Catch Up schedules for VOD Partners based on Programme rights. This will involve working closely with internal teams such as Rights and Content Operations to ensure that content obligations are met and implemented as agreed with our Partners.
- Manage specific VOD schedules inline with ITVX.
- Track schedule, licence and content changes and communicate updates where Partner VOD schedules are impacted.
- Working with Partner and Platform Operations Senior Exec and internal stakeholders to licence, coordinate and supply deliverables for the iTunes and Amazon Transactional VOD workstream via internal licensing system and varying Partner delivery systems.
- Maintain Excel Metadata and Image process for the BritBox US workstream, involving accurate input of data, tracking schedule changes, communicating updates.
- Undertake other ad-hoc tasks, as required such as daily/weekly administrative tasks including reports, data extraction and routine tasks.
- Help shape new and existing processes.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)...
- You will have experience working within a Television/Streaming environment
- Demonstrable experience of VOD scheduling
- An awareness and understanding of Programme Rights highly desirable
