Job Introduction

As our Plant Manager your will be responsible for the management of the repair centre, ensuring that repairs and disposals are dealt with in a timely manner to a satisfactory conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing customer expectations with regards to breakdowns and delivery of service levels at all times
• Keeping the health & safety levels in the depot a high priority on a daily basis
• Identifying and recruiting employees with the right potential following the company's laid down recruitment procedure
• Planning performance and development reviews with your team on a regular basis using the company's performance and development processes.
• Ensuring that individuals are trained and developed effectively to be able to carry out their roles
• Identifying fleeted items for sale which are beyond economical repair or classed as obsolete
• Analysing Idle plant reports to assist Operations with their hire fleet non-earning assets
• Regular review of fleet register and net book values and report on pricing/costings
• To manage the effective repair, service and technical collaboration of equipment

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of plant hire industry desirable but not essential
• Management experience is essential
• Engineering experience desirable but not essential
