Join our dynamic team and support the Head of Marketing Planning & Governance in designing and delivering the overall Group marketing plan. This role involves leading cross-functional planning processes, collaborating with Group Brand & Marketing (B&M) colleagues and business stakeholders, and ensuring the development and delivery of a cohesive marketing plan. You will provide planning expertise and marketing knowledge to identify and prioritize key marketing activities, enabling effective deployment of marketing resources. Additionally, you will monitor and report on the delivery of the marketing plan and champion the use of effective planning systems, processes, and controls.
About the role
- Support the development of the Marketing plan and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Ensure the plan supports business targets and strategic objectives, including building the Royal London brand.
- Identify opportunities to deliver marketing activities effectively.
- Bring sound marketing knowledge for relevant audience groups.
- Triage marketing resource requests and liaise between the business and B&M teams.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the planning and marketing brief allocation process.
- Support the communication of the marketing plan across the B&M function
- Be responsive to competitor activity and evolving marketing best practices
About you
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Strong experience in marketing planning and development.
- Marketing experience, particularly in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of Royal London products/propositions and distribution model.
- Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights from data.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to monitor and report on risks relevant to plan delivery
