/ ROLE SUMMARY

This Planning Partner role will encompass responsibility for the day-to-day & media planning output, managing the end-to-end campaign process.

This role will lead a team of two Planning Directors, two Planning Managers and two Planning Executives across the 3 accounts. Your responsibility for the team is to:

  • Drive transformative business results, resulting in client retention and satisfaction whilst ensuring commercial growth, achieved through building strong trust-based relationship with mid-level and senior clients.
  • Developing a deep understanding of your clients business, communication model, and lead the planning output, supporting the Planning Directors in day to day management of the clients.
  • Be a trusted advisor to your clients.
  • Be responsible for championing iProspect's experimentation agenda and ensuring team adoption of our dentsu/iProspect Planning process to deliver effective & forward-looking media plans alongside outstanding client service - this is a critical element in delivering on our client's expectations.
  • Be a role model for collaboration, showing that radical collaboration leads to better work, working with teams across all specialist areas to develop pioneering solutions that help accelerate your clients business.
  • Executing commercial management alongside the Managing Partner, including ownership of client contract, optimisation of the people/FTE plan to match requirements, forecasting of secured revenue, cost base, opportunity pipe and operational finance excellence.
  • Demonstrate team leadership, managing the client service team effectively by ensuring expectations are set and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders, whilst cultivating and championing a positive and healthy team culture.
  • Directly manage the planning team members below you and take responsibility & care for their career development.

Regardless of background, a Planning Partner at iProspect needs some specific traits to succeed.

They must be curious and passionate about the clients' businesses they work on, showing clear knowledge for the categories they operate in and challenges they face.

They must possess a desire to always be looking for a better more effective way and a willingness & bravery to try something new, experimenting & innovating to drive greater future success for our clients and ourselves

They should be great at building strong and lasting relationship with clients fostering trust and partnerships. The right person should also be comfortable presenting to clients and be fluent when presenting or speaking to groups internally and externally.

A strong, personable & respectful collaborator, they should be great at working with others in iProspect and across the dentsu network to develop brilliant client solutions together.

They should be commercially savvy understanding how to meet both the needs of the client and organization, as well as good with numbers to be able to manage our clients' budgets and plans. Moreover, they should be able to handle client negotiations, explain and sell value adding products from dentsu, and act with diplomacy.

They should be tenacious and driven to pursue excellence in everything they do. They should display a determination to deliver their best work and should be keen to develop themselves and their skills.

The Planning Partner should have a thorough understanding of media and advertising, with a least 7 years of experience of working on integrated marketing campaigns, primarily across above-the-line brand and performance clients.

We operate an open and inclusive hybrid culture that promotes collaboration at every turn, but also supports flexibility. Whilst we encourage teams to physically come together on average 2-3 days a week at either our office, clients offices or their partner agencies, we trust everyone to work in the best place for the tasks that as a team need to be delivered on any given day. In iProspect London, we try to ensure we come together as a full agency in the office on Tuesdays Thursdays and encourage everyone to arrange their diaries to minimise virtual meetings on Thursdays so they can focus on real life face to face collaboration & connection.

Huddling

At 09:40am every Monday, we come together virtually as iProspect UK and share what's on our radars for the coming week, any wins, project & media news updates and it's a great opportunity to rally people around to celebrate & learn from teams' great work & experiments too.

Celebrating

On the last Thursday of the month we come together in our London All Agency meeting to celebrate & share great work, highlights from our great clients and crucially celebrate our great people & their milestone moments both professional and personal.

Socialising
