Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Planning & Optimisation Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• To manage the long range planning and forecasting of volume, fleet and resource for the R1 network alongside the cross border planning team.
• Lead the EU Planning team with the operational delivery of service KPIs and Financial results.
• Lead the planning and forecasting for the full network including communication with the customer.
• Responsible for delivering an integrated network approach with significant cost reduction.
• Responsible for carrier management, engagement and regular reviews of performance for the Subcontractor base.

• Transport & Planning experience is ESSENTIAL
