Key responsibilities and duties:
- Lead the IBP / SIOP cycle, producing integrated demand, supply, and financial plans that underpin the business strategy.
- Develop and deliver scenarios and options to leadership, providing clear recommendations to balance customer demand, production capacity, and financial targets.
- Ensure the IBP process connects cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Commercial, Finance, Customer Services) into a single, aligned plan.
- Partner with the Master Scheduler (who manages the Planner/Schedulers) to ensure tactical execution aligns with the strategic IBP plan.
- Maintain and update the Production Pace Control Shop (PPC) Visual Management Area, making WIP, constraints, and capacity challenges visible to all stakeholders.
- Challenge the management team through IBP insights, driving actions to streamline flow, redeploy resources, and reduce inventory exposure.
- Deliver transparent reporting to senior leadership, including performance against plan, capacity risks, and forward-looking opportunities.
- Embed continuous improvement within the IBP cycle, strengthening forecasting, scenario modelling, and decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems (QMS, SMS, EMS).

Functional Competencies:
- Expertise in Integrated Business Planning / SIOP.
- Proficient in scenario planning, forecasting, and demand/supply balancing.
- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
- Familiarity with lean principles, visual management, and resource planning.
Organisational Relationships:
- Reports directly to the VP & GM - UK Engines Business Unit.
- Works closely with the Master Scheduler to ensure the MPS is aligned with the IBP plan.
- Partners with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Commercial, and Finance to deliver an integrated business plan.
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Essential
- Equivalent experience in Integrated Business Planning / SIOP or senior planning leadership role.
Experience:
- Proven experience leading an IBP / SIOP process within an Aerospace MRO or complex manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in planning, scheduling, and cross-functional business integration.
- Experience in influencing leadership teams through data-driven insights.
