The Opportunity

We understand the challenges of returning to work, which is why we offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to refresh or develop their career. With 9 weeks of full-time virtual training, our expert trainers will guide you, helping you build confidence and prepare you for an exciting career as a Planner. After completing your training, you'll work with AWE, a leading public sector
client on nationally significant projects.

As a Project Planner, you’ll be part of a supportive, dynamic team, managing a wide range of projects in a highly regulated environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders are essential, as you’ll be presenting schedule analyses and working closely with project managers.

Your Role as a Project Planner Will Include:

  • Developing work breakdown structures, resource loading, and maintaining project-level Integrated Master Schedules.
     
  • Leading the month-end process by updating schedule progress, forecasting, and conducting critical path analysis.
     
  • Offering planning input to investment approval, risk management, and change control processes.
     
  • Producing planning and Earned Value Management (EVM) deliverables, in line with established procedures.
     

  • Collaborating with senior managers and team members, while helping to mentor Assistant Planners.
