Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy on Witton Street, Northwich.
Northwich is a lovely market town situated between Chester & Crewe. It is close to the M6 & M56 Motorways and has excellent train links - it's location also makes it ideal for commuters from Warrington, South Manchester & the wider Cheshire region.
Our Pharmacy is based close to the town centre and is next door to a small surgery which has a great reputation.
How our pharmacy makes a difference:
- It dispenses 2200 items a week
- It provides a wide range of services including Flu/Covid/NMS/Contraception/Pharmacy First/BP/ABPM/Methadone
- It provides services to 6 substance misuse patients
- It dispenses 120 community blisters
This pharmacy is open 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday (5pm finish on a Wednesday) & 9am - 1.30pm on a Saturday.
The successful candidate will be required to work 1 in 2 Saturdays (with a day off during the week when working Saturday).
The experienced team is comprised of 4 pharmacy assistants and a foundation year pharmacist.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.
You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.
You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
