Pharma Marketing Manager: Lead Global Campaigns and Drive Innovation

Are you ready to take the lead in developing and implementing global marketing campaigns within our Pharma Program? As the Pharma Marketing Manager, you'll have a keen focus on bioanalysis/DMPK, regulated impurities testing and solving customer problems in the discovery and regulated pharma markets. You'll leverage your scientific integrity and extensive pharmaceutical market expertise to monitor trends, develop key customer content, and contribute to industry-relevant events.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of key customer relationship development and management, fostering internal and external scientific collaboration, and providing sales and applications science support. Your insights will be crucial for new product and workflow development, and you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharma-applicable hardware and software solutions. Working closely with global demand generation and regional commercial and marketing teams you'll design and implement effective marketing and sales tactics that meet ambitious targets.

Reporting to the Pharma Program Lead, you'll operate a sub-segment of the Quan Portfolio within the RDAT business segment. Your success will be measured by the demand generated and pharma revenue growth for the Quan portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute global pharma quan marketing campaigns, including, but not limited to, bioanalysis (DMPK), regulated impurities and targeted 'omics.
  • Develop and deliver campaign content, tactics, and events.
  • Collaborate across the Waters Division to drive business growth through the development and launch of pharma quan-applicable products and solutions, compelling scientific content, industry partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
  • Support pharma market segment launches, commercialization, and field-led marketing and sales activities.
  • Identify and nurture key customer collaborations to grow Waters' market presence.
  • Assimilate and monitor customer and sales feedback, market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities in pharma quan.
  • Work closely with global demand generation teams to achieve campaign milestones.
  • Create and deliver sales enablement content for key market segments and initiatives.
  • Support scientific teams in planning and driving application content for marketing campaigns.
  • Attend and contribute to local and global conferences and meetings to promote Waters' Quan portfolio applications and products.
  • Report key performance indicators and marketing campaign effectiveness regularly.
  • Provide pharma market subject matter expertise and pharma customer requirements to new product development projects.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Degree or higher qualification in life, physical, or chemical sciences, technology, or a business-related field.
  • Professional marketing qualification, MBA, or equivalent is preferable.

Experience and Attributes:

  • 5+ years of scientific project/campaign management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a solid understanding of the DMPK/bioanalytical regulatory landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and scientists.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and execution skills.
  • Keen sales/commercial understanding.
  • Ability to work within budgetary guidelines.
  • Cross-cultural agility and sensitivity.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

Travel

Willingness to travel up to 25% of time internationally. The ideal candidate will be located within commuting distance of Waters Wilmslow, UK, or Waters, Milford, MA, USA.
