We have an exciting opportunity in the newly formed Personalisation team for a Personalisation Delivery Manager. You'll be working closely with teams across the Tesco Group to help deliver the personalisation strategy, which will be a key driver of Tesco's ongoing growth. You will be responsible for enabling delivery across Personalisation workstreams by leveraging your expertise to mobilise teams and implement strategic interventions that drive value for both customers and shareholders. You will own and evolve the way we deliver Personalisation and customer growth, ensuring our squads and delivery methodologies are optimised for performance and aligned with out long- term ambitions.

You will be responsible for
Working across the Tesco group, including with Tesco Mobile & IMS, to deliver Group personalisation capabilities
Manage the prioritisation process of our key transformational projects, across personalisation & customer, making sure we have a clear roadmap to deliver our goals.
Own and continuously improve the delivery approach for personalisation and customer growth initiatives. Deliver the Personalisation roadmap across squads and other delivery methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders to secure ongoing support for the roadmap.
Design and optimise squad operations, including cadence, capacity, integration, and governance.
Define and scope squad missions, shaping ambitions, priorities, and business cases to ensure delivery of customer and commercial outcomes.
Manage resources and budgets at a portfolio level to ensure delivery within agreed investment parameters.
Ensure squads gather and analyse cross-functional requirements and collaborate effectively with Tech and business partners.
Lead sprint planning and roadmap development across squads, ensuring forward planning and delivery readiness.
Establish governance structures to provide effective oversight and direction for the roadmap. Drive consistent, transparent progress reporting and issue resolution.
Build and embed cross-functional teams with clear, efficient ways of working. Identify interdependencies across the Group, ensuring collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Use critical thinking and stakeholder management to remove delivery obstacles. Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and opportunities to optimise delivery outcomes.
Align with Tech and Business Planning to coordinate delivery and communicate progress. Balance project scope and timelines with regular, value-driven deliveries.
Foster a customer-centric culture within squads, focused on behavioural insights and outcomes. Create an empowering environment where squad members collaborate and deliver at pace.
Champion a test-and-learn culture to inform direction and optimise performance.
Support the transition of squads from incubation to integration within business processes.
Provide subject matter expertise and contribute to the broader Change at Tesco community. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and support teams through change.
You will need
- Project management experience in a large customer-focused organisation
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience working in Supplier Facing/ Commercial roles
- Experience working in a cross- functional environment across group entities
- Experience working in both traditional and agile environments, particularly in roles where personalisation and innovation are key
