G6: £31,537 - £34,434 per annum
Are you an organised, proactive and confident professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a highly skilled Personal Assistant to provide outstanding executive support to our Directors across Economy Housing & Growth, Children's Services, ASC and Health, and Resources.
As a key member of our PA team, you will play an essential role in enabling our senior leaders to deliver high-quality services to residents, partners and communities across Walsall. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on complexity, enjoys managing competing priorities and takes pride in delivering a first-class administrative service.
In this fast-paced role, you will act as the first point of contact for Directors, manage complex diaries, coordinate and support high-level meetings and partnership boards, prepare agendas and papers, take accurate minutes, and ensure actions and deadlines are followed through efficiently. You will monitor and prioritise multiple inboxes, handle confidential correspondence, support Members of Parliment (MP) enquiries and complaints, produce high-quality documents, and maintain effective tracking and monitoring systems.
The role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, political awareness, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative Business Support team. You will also support key projects, liaise with senior managers, maintain office systems, uphold council values, and ensure high standards of customer service at all times.
