Description
• Management of the Permit Team comprising of 4 direct reports
• Accountable for the day-to-day permit applications process to ensure compliance across a range of measures, including but not limited to;
a) Permit applications
b) Permit variations
c) Work starts
d) Work stops
e) Registrations
• Work collaboratively with the operational teams to monitor permits and prevent FPN's
• Manage stakeholder liaison for works
• Attend and lead on Client meetings, proactively building collaborative relationships
• Lead on KPI reporting internally and externally and achieve required targets
• Manage any complaints as a result of non-compliance
To carry out other duties consistent with the above that may be directed or implied from time to time as required commensurate to the post.
Garman Road, Tottenham with occasional travel to other Marlborough and Client offices.
Person Specification
• A detailed understanding of the relevant legislation and regulations relating to the field particularly the London Permit Scheme, New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004
• Having had previous line management experience, you will Lead, develop and direct your team to be a high performing business unit capable of delivering the highest standard of operational support
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally, while effectively engaging and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to changing priorities
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
